Submit a Proposal for the 4th Annual Emerging Technologies for Online Learning International Symposium

MERLOT and the Sloan Consortium invite you to submit a proposal for the 4th Annual Emerging Technologies for Online Learning International Symposium, http://sloanconsortium.org/et4online to be held July 11-13, 2011 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, CA. The theme of the conference is “Empowering Next Generation Teaching” and is designed to bring together individuals interested in the review and evaluation of online teaching and learning technologies. Provosts, CIO’s, academic technology leaders, faculty, librarians, instructional designers and technologists, and other academic administrators are encouraged to submit proposals which are engaging, informative and interactive. These sessions can be targeted to all attendees or beginners, intermediates, or experts.

When submitting your abstract for review, you will have the option to have it considered for one of the following Conference Tracks. There are five tracks plus one for pre-conference workshops.

Program Tracks include:
§ Pedagogy
§ Instructional Design and Support of Online Classes
§ The New Learning Communities
§ Inventive uses of Media and Tools
§ Administration, Infrastructure, and Support Services
